Vice President level role for an ambitious Product Control specialist with a major international Securities company in Tokyo . In this role you will be responsible for day to day financial management of trading activity fin the firms proprietary accounts across all product areas.
Core Responsibilities:
Review trading businesses, to highlight and report unusual activity
Stay informed of developments and issues in their area
Use and interpret sophisticated risk systems
Liaise with various departments
Prepare daily p&ls for trading desks, including a review of inventory valuation Month end procedures including prepare accounts and post to company ledger
Experience / Skills:
Product control experience in an international finance firm
Fluent English speaker and writer
Japanese language ability preferable but not essential for candidates with strong experience
Team player
Strong character, able to work under pressure
Self confidence to interact with demanding internal clients
Computer literate and highly numerate
