Specific Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Managing and completing projects, delivering professionally prepared deliverables regarding: strategy, organizational design, business operations and processes, information technology (hardware and software), project management, real estate, payroll, health/office/travel insurance comparisons vendor functionality comparisons and searches, and aiding in industry professional searches.
Working with prime brokerage sales professionals to develop consulting services strategies;
Identifying target profile clients; Making joint marketing/sales calls with prime brokerage sales professionals; Networking with other groups within the bank to build relationships and to better understand products/services to identify cross-selling opportunities;
Qualifications: Dedicated and motivated individual with 1-2 years post MBA ?formal consulting experience focused on financial services firms and/or specifically, hedge funds; Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a team environment with fast turnaround times and multiple organizational inputs. Teaming is defined as working collaboratively at all times on a daily, minute-by minute basis. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve issues using outside subject matter experts where subject matter expertise does not exit within the team; Experience in evaluating client organizational/operational structures, processes and controls to improve effectiveness and mitigate errors, omissions and inefficiencies; Excellent and proven written and oral communication skills; Excellent and proven presentation and formatting skills, with a deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (power point, excel, word, visio, etc?); Direct hedge fund experience preferred, but not required; Formal consulting experience required.
Education: Bachelors degree and MBA required
