Job Description: Assists several senior analysts in completing financial models as well as research on industry groups or individual securities. A solid background in accounting and finance is required as is the ability to work fluently with excel spreadsheets. A strong interest in the stock market, investment analysis, and equity research as a possible career is recommended. The ability to work independently and multi-task is critical. Research Assistant may also be responsible for assisting in the monitoring of performance for several investment portfolios that are managed by the research group. Position is intended to be for a 2-3 year period before the candidate enters an MBA program.
