Oversee the corporate actions department within a Global Investment Bank.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for Equity Finance, Fixed Income Trading, and Prime Brokerage groups
Manage day to day processing for voluntary/mandatory corporate actions, dividends, and P&I processing within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Heavy interaction with external counterparties, depositories and agent banks as well as internal traders, product controllers and various operations personnel
Prepare and present weekly/monthly reporting
Ensure the timely responses to client and trader queries
Provide technical expertise to various members of the organization
Provide training for new and existing staff members
Requirements:
College degree or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus.
7-10 securities operations experience.
Previous experience managing a small team
Thorough knowledge of a wide range of corporate actions including: Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions, Dividends, and Principal and Interest collections.
In depth knowledge of day-to-day operations in respect to reorganization offers, dividends and P&I Income Processing.
Strong analytical and communication skills. Superb research abilities.
Project management experience preferred.
