This firm is a world leader in private equity investing pursuing transactions throughout the world and executing not only typical leveraged buyout acquisitions of seasoned companies but also transactions involving start-up businesses in established industries, turnarounds, minority investments, corporate partnerships and industry consolidations.
Due to the strong organic growth the team is keen to hire an additional Analyst.
The successful candidates responsibilities will include financial analysis, computer modelling, research, competitive analysis, development of client presentations, assistance in the execution of transactions, and drafting of memoranda for internal and external use. Analysts will work on a wide range of transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, recapitalizations, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts and divestitures across Europe. The position will require the flexibility to travel.
Analysts will participate in all aspects of projects and can expect to be staffed on a number of assignments at one time. Due to the small size of the professional staff, deal teams are typically small and analysts are, therefore, expected to assume important and integral roles. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, and a desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure. Prior investment banking experience and a basic knowledge of accounting and finance is desirable. European languages are preferred but not essential.
