Our client, a well respected and global financial services provider for over thousands of financial institutions in 200 countries, is seeking an enthusiastic System Application Support / Specialist to monitor and maintain our client’s applications.
Working with the global teams supporting the applications, your main focus would be to gain an in-depth knowledge of the complex internal application for providing necessary critical support and business suggestions, esp. to the system architecture.
The institution specifically wants applicants who feel suitably challenged by the role, but equally recognise the right applicant will be capable of growing into a more senior position within the team in time, and therefore requires the right mixture of skills, aptitude, and desire to learn. Applicants should have at least 2 years relevant MNC working experience in telecommunication, electronics or banking / financial institutions.Ambitious graduates with native English and a keen interest in joining the financial industry will also be considered. Knowledge in Unix / Unix scripting, Oracle database, BEA/Tuxedo, Perl scripting. TCPIP/DNS/VPN is a big pus for this role.
Fluent to native English is a definite must for this role, with the ability to convey technical information to different levels of non-technical business users/clients as well as good problem solving and time management skills.
