Solid, well established insurance firm in New York City is seeking an experienced marketing professional who will be responsible for developing and overseeing annuity and life insurance, marketing and field communications.
Candidate will assume a leadership role for marketing, and communications strategy by working with product development, business development and marketing services. They will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and responding to the current and future needs of the company’s field partners. We seek a creative and innovative individual to lead this critical function within the firm.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the development of sales collateral material for new product introductions, key promotional programs, and key target segment materials. • Oversee all customer and field communications support and prioritization of programs. • Play a primary role in business planning and strategy development process. • Develop and lead implementation of integrated marketing plans for current and new product launches and key initiatives such as recruitment, agency brokerage initiative, etc. • Develop and manage field communication process and implementation.
Qualifications include:
• 15 years of relevant responsibility and experience. • Experience and knowledge of the annuity and life insurance industry. • Experience with sales force distribution systems • expertise in field and customer communications. • Experience with indirect sales force distribution systems including agents, brokers, etc. • knowledge and experience in marketing segmentation, customer profiling and development. • Experience in implementation of cross-sell, retention, and acquisition strategies. • New business development and launch experience. • Experience with Market Research and customer analysis • Experience in leading cross-organizational teams. • Outstanding communication and leadership skills • Ability to build and lead a marketing team and a demonstrated track record of success in management.
