The investment writer will be responsible for writing, in a timely manner, relevant and thought provoking, high-end market, investment themed and product communication pieces for a variety of media. The ideal candidate would have an excellent understanding of hedge funds and experience of marketing investment management capabilities to retail distribution and institutional clients.

Responsibilities

Core Competencies:

• Experience in investment writing
• Asset management experience - hedge funds an advantage
• Knowledge of the retail distribution and institutional marketplace an advantage - as well as experience of global or EMEA markets
• Strong analytical ability and good attention to detail / accuracy
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills - both written and oral

Key attributes:

• Strategic. Work with channel marketing managers, investment management and sales teams to assist in the formulation, communication and implementation of materials
• Teamwork. Work as part of a small focused team
• Proactive. Help identify opportunities and initiate projects where marketing can add value across the business

Based in Switzerland and working closely with the channel marketing managers, investment management teams and sales teams based around the world, write communications and content suitable for retail distribution and institutional audiences around the globe including but not limited to the following:

• sales materials including brochures, sales aids and other promotional items
• product launch presentations and other launch materials,
• web articles and web copy,
• press articles
• Quarterly publications for intermediaries
• advertising copy
