We are currently looking for a Structured Securities Portfolio Analyst to join our Fixed Income Portfolio Management team. Key responsibilities center around strengthening the capabilities of our Portfolio Management team in relation to the risks and opportunities inherent in structured securities.
What you will be doing:
Analyzing the convexity risk of the portfolio including pools, CMO, and Corporate
Analyzing the credit risk of the portfolio including CMO, ABS, CMBS, and CDO
Analyzing the sector diversification of the portfolio to peers, fit and suitability to liabilities, and aggregation of credit and interest rate risk
Presenting and discussing strategy with others in PM group including ALM, peer studies, and strategy
Coordinating with the trading desk to execute strategy
Interacting with other members of the investment team including Portfolio Managers and Traders to help facilitate an effective investment decision making process
What you need to have:
Bachelors degree along with 2+ years of portfolio analyst/management experience. CFA/MBA highly desired. You must have a knowledge of the structured securities sector and market as well as knowledge of trading levels and tranche cashflow streams.
Computer skills should include proficiency with Bloomberg, a working knowledge of Intex is a definite plus.
