Our client a leading professional services company requires Senior Managers to join their Transaction Advisory Service teams in Italy.
The Role
The Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory Services, will join what is considered an integral part of the Corporate Finance Division and is responsible for providing assistance in deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation and post closing aspects of the deal process.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities and areas the successful candidates will be involved in:
• Provide buy-side and/or sell-side due diligence services to companies or financial investors engaged in M&A transactions. • Ability to work and deal with issues from different industries such as telecommunication, energy, utilities, financial services, software, retail or manufacturing. • Project management skills - including the ability to achieve tight reporting deadlines, set and monitor budgets combined with a dedication to the successful conclusion of the project. • Team management - managing multi-location and/or multi-service line teams of 4 to 15/20 people including commitment to develop team members and achievement of their personal objectives. • Ensures co-developing of client agenda and ensures client needs are met in a way that is advantageous to both the client and the firm providing to clients a seamless service • Actively seek cross-selling opportunities • Maintains strong internal networks • Involved in revenue generation initiatives e.g., key account teams • Involved in the proposal process (e.g. preparing proposal paperwork, presenting to prospective clients • Generate potential sales opportunities • Demonstrates a full understanding of the business strategy. • Uses the firm’s knowledge to develop new ideas and exploit new commercial or promotional opportunities • Controls major assignments and co-ordinates multi location cases. Keeps the partner informed of progress and discusses conclusions with the partner. Participates in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to the client and discusses the implications and action points • Ensures (through hot review and final review) that all of the key issues are identified and that the product delivers value added solutions to the client • Ensures that house style guidelines are known to the team and consistently applied • Regularly contributes knowledge to the TS team and feedbacks to the other TS functions on a timely basis • Ensures that the transaction/assignment is completed within budget and Q&RM policies are complied with • Monitor recovery on a regular basis, communicates fee costs to clients and successfully negotiates overruns • Manage cash to cash and discounts and controls overheads • Actively participates in initiatives to make incremental improvement to TS products and working methods
Skill & Experience
•MUST HAVE TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES EXPERIENCE
• Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships. • Strong analytical and report writing capabilities with careful attention to detail. • Ability to achieve and manage very tight deadlines and pressure from different parties. • Strong adaptability skills to work with different cultures and different background such as lawyers, bankers and tax consultants. • Able to handle diverse and pressing assignments simultaneously (effective delegation)
