Vice President, Risk Management position with an international bank in their Singapore branch
Our client is a major international bank involved in both investment banking and commercial banking operations in the region.
They are looking for an experienced risk manager to be part of their team managing both market and operational risks.
The role is to be part of the team producing management reports on risk taking activities, conducting analysis and making suggestions to senior management. The team is reponsible for controlling, monitoring and measuring risk exposures of all the operations of the bank in the region. They also need to assess the risks associated with new products.
Their requirements are as follows:
5 to 7 years experience in treasury, risk management and/or audit
University degree and familiarity with risk control concepts
Strong interpersonal and good communications skills are essential
Must also be the type of person who is attentive to details.
