Our Client, a Commodity Trading Company based in Geneva is searching for an Accountant to join their Financial Services Group
This position represents an excellent development opportunity for qualified accountants focused on building their risk management skills and experience.
The ideal candidate would be required to monitor and process accounting entries on daily FSG activities as well as working with the traders and operations on the accounting process. You would also need to perform Analysis and review P/L and B/S for the Group's business along with performing Financial Analysis on the Group’s results.
This role would report to the Local Financial controller, and functionally to the Global Financial Services Group Controller.
Requirements:
• Possess a recognised degree in accounting
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in accounting or finance, preferably in financial institution or commodity trading company. Auditors with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Hands-on knowledge with SAP will be an added advantage
• Strong business acumen
• Team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
