This includes development and execution of business development plans, address client issues and ensures client satisfaction and engagement with Visa as the preferred payment company. Key Result Areas: 1. Scope, develop and propose business development plans incorporating clients' business objectives / needs, competition analysis, business projections for Visa's clients. Execute these plans to ensure business results in the form of continued allegiance to the company's products and services 2. Develop, enhance and maintain relationships with identified clients to gain support and preference for Visa and to facilitate the achievement of the established revenue / profit targets and securing Visa's long term business 3. Conduct research, analyze companies from a financial, operational, competitive and industry perspective. Help to develop proposals and structure profitable deals that meet customer requirements. 4. Diligently use the corporate CRM system as well as corporate sales resources aimed at sales metrics reporting and planning to allow decision making for higher , focused sales delivery. 5. Collaborate with functional teams within the country and also at head office level to develop stronger client value propositions for implementation in order to gain greater share of the client's wallet. Decision Making You will propose and implement profitable solutions for the customers, manage client related issues to ensure desired level of client satisfaction is met. Propose product enhancements and development based on the clients business needs in the light of the organizational focus and profitability Reporting Relationship: Report to Country Head of Sales Skills & knowledge Professional - At least a Bachelor's degree.
- Those with 5 to 6 years experience will be considered for Business Development Manager roles
- A higher level of experience will be considered for Senior Business Development Manager roles.
- It is essential to have experience in banking industry and / or payment related companies
Technical - Knowledge of consumer banking / payment industry
