With the successful closing of their first infrastructure fund and up to 10 Billion further funding available, a new team is being formed in London targeting the acquisition of European and Global secondary market infrastructure assets.
Specific sectors of interest include roads, bridges and tunnels; airports, ports and rail; water supply and wastewater treatment; gas transportation, storage and distribution; power generation and electric transmission; and utility services for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
All assets acquired will however display the following investment criteria
• steady, growing and predictable cash flow
• strategic competitive advantage
• limited commodity or merchant risk
Unlike many of their competitors, this fund has no problem attracting and generating deal-flow. The strength of the existing team and track record will provide the successful candidates with exposure to both high profile "club" deals and highly innovative projects where the fund can take a 100% interest and influence the operational and strategic direction of the business.
Further strength is now required in the investment appraisal and analysis of this deal-flow.
At Associate level you will assist in the investment appraisal of new business in addition the operational monitoring and refinancing of the growing portfolios. Ideally with exposure to secondary market infrastructure acquisition or with a strong advisory (financial modelling and valuations) or lending background to include deal exposure within the sectors. With strong academic and professional qualifications you will be highly numerate and able communicator.
