Global Brokerage firm is looking to add an Operational Risk Analyst to their Operational Risk Team that will be responsible for close monitoring of trading losses and operational errors through the firms Permanent Supervision process.
This process includes departmental risk assessments, determining the high-risk processes, establishing periodic testing around these high-risk items, and reviewing the testing results. The candidates responsibilities will also include ensuring that the company is adequately collecting operational losses over the threshold defined; analyzing these losses/statistics and proposing mitigating measures when relevant.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry. Prefer candidates to have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline. Will also consider candidates with audit, operations and compliance experience. This person must have strong written and oral communication skills along with strong analytical skills.
