The bank’s Debt Securities and Syndicate group is considered a market leader in the Australian debt capital markets. Their full service capabilities cover origination, sales, trading, syndicate and research functions. They are consistently a top tier arranger of domestic issues, by both volume and number of deals. As a result of growth they are seeking to appoint an Associate Director to join their Syndicate team.
In this role, you will identify market opportunities for primary issuance and facilitate information flow between the product areas (bonds, hybrids, ABS, syndicate loans, etc) and the investor base / distribution channels. You will ensure Syndicate has a strong working relationship with investors, the Bank's distribution platform and the product areas.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone seeking to join an innovative and expanding team. With a minimum of 5 years experience in Financial Markets, you will have developed a strong understanding of Debt Capital Market sales and product origination. You will have well established relationships with Australian investors and strong technical market knowledge. Suitable candidates may come from a fixed income institutional sales background. Previous syndicate experience and time spent on a trading floor would be considered highly beneficial.
