KPMG ForensicSM professionals assist organizations in their efforts to achieve the highest level of business integrity through the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud and misconduct. Our Forensic professionals strive to not only help our clients discover the facts underlying concerns about fraud and misconduct, but also assist clients in assessing their vulnerabilities to such activities, and in developing controls and programs to address these risks.
Responsibilities: * Assist organizations and their stakeholders by addressing issues that arise from investigations, underperformance, and liquidity concerns * Simultaneously manage multiple projects involving complex operational and financial problems * Lead project teams in the identification of critical factors causing a corporations operational and financial under-performance as well as the develop and implement plans to return the organization to profitability * Help our clients develop plans for communicating complex information, both quantitative and qualitative, to third-parties * Liaise with other Advisory Services teams and professionals to deliver client service and to identify opportunities * Support firm Audit, Tax and Advisory project teams in their activities associated with troubled corporations * Hire, manage, and motivate a professional team with diverse backgrounds
Qualifications: * Five years of experience leading team members and engagements * Restructuring/Investigation credentials, such as CIRA, CTP, CDBV, CFE * Able to demonstrate an understanding of various factors that impact successful investigations, turnarounds, and the importance of stakeholders * Excellent client relationship skills * Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work loads * Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Finance or a similar discipline * Client focused, results-driven, and industry-savvy * Moderate to extensive level of travel
