Special Situations Analyst
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform fundamental analysis, make investment recommendations and manage a portfolio of individual event-driven and special situation securities using a value oriented approach and an emphasis on original, bottom-up research.
Monitor ongoing investment opportunities and industry trends.
Job Qualifications:
Proprietary Desk experience in event-driven and special situation positions is a plus.
Solid financial modeling and spreadsheet skills.
CFA, MBA and/or CPA is a plus.
Database skills are a plus.
Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be a strong self-starter and able to work well independently.
