Our client is a major provider of information for the coal, oil, electricity and nuclear power markets. They are currently seeking a dynamic compliance officer to serve as Head of their Compliance group.
The main function of the Head of Compliance - Energy Markets Compliance Officer will be for the development and providing senior direction of the compliance and ethics functions:
* Maintain up to date information and research of emerging industry trends and regulatory developments.
* Interact with Risk Management group and Compliance officers on firm processes and methodologies.
* Develop and maintain training programs and materials to keep firm associates up to date in regards to Compliance and ethics standards and procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION:
* 5-8 years minimum in a Compliance or Regulatory function within a financial services firm or law firm.
* MUST have expert knowledge of the energy markets and regulations pertaining to.
