POSITION: Senior Specialist - AMS Order Generation / SMA Trade Order Processing BUSINESS: GTS Division: Operations - Separate Managed Accounts Location: 111 Wall St, NY NY
OVERVIEW: Position is responsible for processing Across the Board (ATB) model change requests and maintenance trade (new account investment, contribution/withdrawal processing, account terminations) processing on behalf of Citigroup Asset Manager Solutions clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Specialist will use various trade order generation systems/applications to generate required trade orders, communicate the orders to the client's trading desk, await instructions for execution, execute trades based upon specific client instructions, transmit allocations for executed trades and ensure all orders are fully executed.
In addition, the Senior Specialist will be responsible for reviewing all assigned accounts to identify accounts with high/low/debit cash balances, accounts with short positions, or accounts which are not appropriately invested in line with their assigned model portfolio, and will generate and execute trade orders to bring accounts back in line with their respective model portfolio.
Skills
Proven professional skills - 3-5 years experience with SMA accounts.
Requires a minimum of 2 years SMA wrap trading experience.
Strong knowledge of portfolio management and trading systems required.
Strong knowledge of securities, including equities and fixed income.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Must be able to pay extremely close attention to details.
Must be a team player.
Strong PC skills, especially MS Excel & Access
Vestmark, Checkfree Security APL, Vestmark, Upstream, and Portia experience preferred.
