Working with a highly experienced and market leading team this role offers the chance to take your analytical and communication skills and position you as a dedicated investment professional in the Infrastructure sector. Supporting a senior portfolio manager this role will help construct and maintain a portfolio of high quality infrastructure assets that generate investment return and risk characteristics consistent with the fund’s investment mandate and objectives.

The opportunity will allow you to work with a diverse team that manage several quality infrastructure funds. You will be fast tracked and up skilled in order that you can take portfolio responsibilities over time.

Main focus areas of the role will be:-

• Research infrastructure sectors for each of the geographies included for the funds, portfolio rebalancing where required
• Identify new sectors and asset classes within the scope of investment of the funds as well as forecast trends within the existing sectors
• Build and maintain highly effective and successful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including distribution channels, fund researchers, fund managers, financial advisors and investors

To be considered we are looking for those with strong research analytics, likely gained through analysing listed equities, project finance, property or infrastructure. If analysing listed names outside of infrastructure you will still have knowledge of, and exposure to, the asset class. You will have experience in funds management as an analyst or in product and will have post grad tertiary qualifications as appropriate. Critically you will be able to demonstrate your communication skills given an important component to this role is to be the face of the funds.
