Global Markets: Within Deutsche Bank, the Global Markets Division is responsible for the origination, sale, structuring and trading of fixed income, equity, commodity, foreign exchange, derivative and money market products. The TMG (Transaction Management Group) group is a newly formed team comprised of what was previously the Middle Office group within Operations and Finance. TMG is part of the firm's Global Markets Business and is closely aligned to ensure the timely and accurate booking & confirmation of both Derivatives and Securities transactions. The newly formed TMG team reports directly into the Front Office. The division is responsible for managing trades from trade capture, trade and sales support to lifecycle management.
Job Description: AVP is responsible for the management of the US Domestic Cash, International Program Trading and Private Client functions.
Daily Responsibilities • Management of 8 FTE’s tasked with the opening of new client accounts and sub-accounts • Ensuring that all new client accounts and sub-accounts are opened by team in a timely manner • Coordinate between Operations and the Front Office regarding all aspects of account opening • Manage the opening, closing and maintenance of registered representative account numbers • Ensuring all account related inquiries are responded to in an expeditious manner • Work independently to develop methods to improve process flow and promote straight through processing of trades • Make decisions as to when/how to escalate issues to other teams/management
Skills Required: • 3-5 years of Financial Services experience. • Experienced in Equity products. • Solid understanding of Investment Bank / Securities Broker structure with regard to securities transaction processing. • Strong leadership abilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively within a team environment. • Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently. • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and escalate issues as necessary. • Ability to work well and learn under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines. • Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships.
Industry License : NASD Series 7, 63 BA/BS/BBA in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
