The incumbent will be responsible for managing numerous aspects of short duration credit in support of a team of portfolio managers. Specific responsibilities in this regard include the monitoring of credit events and rating agency actions, adding and removing names from approved investment lists, ensuring that credit data is current within various information sources, and working with Compliance to ensure credit related tests are properly created and applied. The incumbent will be expected to have or be able to develop skills in underwriting credit risk in order to join a team of analysts supporting the short duration investment function. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain Credit Committee data/records and will be expected to make strong contributions to Credit Committee activity.
Ideal requirements: BA/BS degree. 5 - 7 years relevant credit experience with knowledge of investment grade issuers and term note structures. Strong analytical ability, solid verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail. Completion of a credit training program. MBA and/or CFA preferred
