Seeking investment banker with 3 to 5 years of renewable energy or related experience to play a lead role in expanding the firm’s activities which are focused exclusively on the renewable energy industry.
A minimum of three to five years of renewable energy investment banking experience that includes an in-depth understanding of the technical, policy and financial aspects of project financing is required. The ideal candidate will have both renewable energy and investment banking experience. Having appropriate broker-dealer licenses is a plus but not necessary.
Required skills include strong work ethic, initiative and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, solid knowledge of capital markets and investment banking products, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
The candidate will take on a leadership role of securing and executing the firm’s investment banking transactions with little junior banker assistance which would include such tasks as new business development, financial modeling, developing marketing materials, due diligence review of clients, negotiation of financing and/or sale terms, identification of investors and lenders and closing of transactions.
The candidate must be a highly motivated self starter who can work with minimal guidance in a small company environment. In addition the candidate must be extremely personable and able to seek out and secure new client relationships.
