An exciting Hong Kong based opportunity for a Mandarin speaker in the Capital Markets Treasury team of a leading international investment bank.
Our client, a leading US investment bank, is currently looking to strengthen their existing regional capital markets treasury team due to continued business growth and the development of the China business.
Reporting to the Head of the Capital Market Treasury team you will work closely with team members to assume funding desk responsibilities to manage the bank’s Asia liquidity. You will be responsible for providing internal financing solutions to business units, along with up to date information on the interest rate environment. Due to the growth in the China business you will take a lead in providing solutions for this business area, assisting in planning and executing capitalisation and dividend repatriation.
You will already have at least 4 years of treasury experience and have an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the China market. You will have first hand knowledge of regional currencies and money market activities and be able to leverage this in a fast paced environment. Whilst previous investment banking experience is not essential, knowledge of the financial services industry is a strong plus. Excellent analytical and communication skills, including fluency in Mandarin are also essential to success.
