Job description: Portfolio Analyst:Fixed Income The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Investment teams for a given set of portfolios to ensure that the portfolios meet their daily requirements and deadlines to enable the Portfolio Managers to manage the portfolios effectively and efficiently. The European investment teams are based in multiple European locations and manage a range of strategies which include Alpha, Enhanced and Beta strategies in Fixed Income, Equities, Currency and Derivatives. The Portfolio Analyst will be the interface between the Investment teams and the other Operations teams and will need to work with other members of the department to successfully support the Portfolio Managers. The Portfolio Analyst will for a given set of portfolios within Fixed income and provide daily cash forecast reports to Portfolio Managers and Ensure accurate portfolio positions are reflected on the accounting systems . • Reconciliations • Cash Forecasting • Verification of Fund Valuations. • OTC Trade processing including trade confirmations, resets, unwinds, and settlements. • Collateral Management. • Performance calculation and query resolution. • Investigating and resolving queries from Clients, Performance Analysts, and Portfolio Managers Education & Experience:Relevant experience in an asset management, custody or investment bank environment, dealing with complex fund structures and asset types Securities Institute /Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ) completed or completing considered an advantage Specific Technical Knowledge,Product knowledge - Corporate Bonds, High Yield Debt, Convertible Bonds, Repo's, FX spot and forwards, Exchange Traded Futures and Options, Interest Rate Swaps, Currency Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, CDO's, Total Return Swaps, Swaptions. .
