My client is an internal Hedgefund of a North American Bank. The group has a well established equity presence and are now making a concerted effort at growing their credit business.
The group itself runs a range of strategies across equities, fixed income and equity linked products. Earlier this year they hired a Global Head of Credit who is in the process of building out the desk and has already made several hires across different areas. He is now looking to take on someone who specializes in credit volatility.
The person coming on board will have autonomy over this area and will be ideally have the experience to build out a profitable group. The successful candidate will have a profitable track record behind them and have had experience at building up a business. Compensation will be in line with Hedgefunds and will be structured as a base + %PnL. In terms of capital allocation there are no limitations and with increasing capital the successful candidate can expect to receive a higher %PnL
