This team aswell as liasing with the client is responsible for providing all elements of transactional and portfolio management support to Corporate Banking Division’s marketing groups
Responsibilities
Managing the credit process for all new and existing facilities for a defined group of counterparty relationships
delivering the new facilities to the Client
On going interface with the Client.
Undertake initial evaluation of tender invitations and prepare indicative terms sheets to support marketing initiatives.
Liaise with Credit Risk in the formulation of an indicative internal rating and, if relevant, an LGD
Prepare formal credit application in conjunction with the RM.
Following award of mandate, prepare and negotiate documentation with client, either alone or in conjunction with the RM.
Following execution of documentation ensure all conditions precedent and any Compliance / KYC requirements are satisfied, and liaise with Loans Administration to facilitate drawdown.
Requirements
Strong credit skills particularly in the corporate and / or structured banking environment
Strong documentary skills and experience in negotiating with Clients.
Highly developed presentational and business writing skills
Self starter with experience and ablity to demonstrate sound commercial judgement
Sound working knowledge of debt products / structures and risk management tools.
