Due to a change in Dubai's regulatory environment a new opportunity has emerged to build a world class healthcare insurer. The firm has powerful backers and huge resources available immediately, and a board of directors that reads like the who's who of Dubai and the global healthcare insurance world. The firm only exists on paper at the moment, so is a complete greenfield site, ready for an ambitious and capable GFC to mark their mark and fortune. We are seeking an experienced finance professional with a broad insurance accounting skillset to build the companies' financial infrastructure from scratch, and go on to lead an run a firm with mid term regional and long term global? aspirations. The role will involve developing financial reporting, MI, treasury processes and systems as well as taking an active role in the investment side of the business. You will recruit and build a division from scratch and take an active leadership role in the next big thing in the Middle East.
To apply we are only interested in hearing from qualified accountants with direct experience from the insurance industry, preferably healthcare or general, who have operated at an FC/ Head of Finance level. You will have a strong financial reporting skillset, will understand regulatory capital and preferably will also have experience of investment valuation and analysis, treasury and management reporting/planning. Arabic language skills would be an advantage, but perfect English is a must.
