Leading global pensions and investments consultancy requires a senior investment actuary or consultant. Enviable client portfolio from day one and clear avenues to become involved in a variety of specialist teams and research projects.
Lead consultant and investment actuary required for a leading pensions and investments consultancy with responsibility for the provision of the full range of investment services. Clients will include some who are highly sophisticated and demand the design and implementation of non-standard and/or complex solutions. Expectation of the successful candidate will be to develop strong relationships, and have credibility, with sophisticated clients.
You will use your wide breadth and depth of experience to reach sound judgements, add value and develop client-focussed solutions. Developing business with new and existing clients will form an important part of your role and other areas of responsibility/interest may include team/unit leader, developing intellectual capital and specialist research.
A qualified actuary or CFA Charterholder you will have an in depth knowledge of the pension and investment marketplace, markets, managers and relevant legislation. Furthermore, you will retain a strong breadth and depth of knowledge of all stages of the investment cycle and have significant experience of leading a variety of clients through the cycle in a variety of economic and market backgrounds.
From a behavioural perspective you will have the gravitas to challenge existing practices and conventional thinking whilst being able to think laterally to develop creative and innovative ideas and practical solutions to meet client needs.
