Highly intelligent, skilled "execution" trader with experience preferably in executing trades in Futures, Interest Rate SWAPS or multiple asset classes sought for day shift or Pac Rim/European
night shift.
PLEASE NOTE: we are "not" seeking skilled prop traders for this position as this position is a non-discretionary position focused on execution and transaction cost analysis. This position does not manage risk.
The chosen individuals will:
Execute large block trades;
Be responsible for implementing and enhancing execution strategies across numerous asset classes;
Brainstorming with other traders and trading department employees on how to lower transaction costs;
Have a highly driven and inquisitive personality that will allow the chosen candidate to push for excellence around every corner by debating issues to come to the best solution or get down to the best idea.
Have a continuous process improvement mentality and must be 100% open to constructive criticism from all levels, including criticism from less experienced employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required with a highly competitive GPA. We are looking for the best and the brightest!
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience executing preferably large block trades across multiple asset classes.
Highly prefer Futures Contract and Interest Rate SWAP experience.
Must give 100% committment for working the European/Pac Rim night shift for a minimum of 1 year.
Prior experience with transaction cost analysis is ideal.
Highly innovative problem solver with exceptional focus.
