Job Description: Manage a small team of business analysts and developers in support of Interactive Data’s Financial Business Systems. This is a ‘hands-on’ position requiring expert knowledge of Oracle Applications 11i.10 financial ERP modules, to include; G/L, A/P, F/A, A/R, C/M, Purchasing, iProcurement, and iExpense. This role also supports ADP’s HRIS systems and a home-grown Billing application written in PERL. Both of these applications have a planned migration to corresponding Oracle 11i modules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: This candidate must have specific functional experience in Oracle 11i G/L, A/R, A/P, F/A, and HRIS. Practical experience with Oracle Discoverer, Project Accounting, and other Oracle 11i ERP/HRIS modules is a plus. The candidate must be able to demonstrate both business acumen and Oracle 11i software implementation experience. In addition, he/she must be able to teach others, be accustomed to working within a formal project management methodology, and be familiar with Oracle support processes, including formal change management. In addition to Oracle E-Business Suite financials functional expertise, this position requires strong leadership capabilities in support of all business systems. This includes managing the implementation of new processes, technical solutions, data conversion, testing, and configuration across our Finance and HR organizations. This position is tasked with continuous evaluation of processes and tools, searching for improvements and adjustments where necessary. Additional responsibilities will include: - Manage and provide direction for the ERP applications staff. This includes, but is not limited to: establishing priorities for project deliverables and daily tasks, creating employee development plans, and mentoring.
- Identify, recruit, and hire new application staff.
- Manage all aspects of implementation on new Oracle 11i implementations and related tools to meet the business process.
- Manage the development and deployment of new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout Interactive Data Finance and Human Resources.
- Understand the basic component architecture relationship with data (table structures) and key touch points between modules.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing. Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades, and train and document processes.
- Understand what functionality is available as well as what has already been implemented. Advise on new solutions for enterprise business applications integration and functionality activation. Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.
- Consult with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. Provide end-user instruction and support to resolve application issues. Provide resolution to support issues, and be responsible for escalation procedures while retaining ownership of the issues. Manage Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) with Oracle Support.
- Manage third party consulting resources.
- Ensure the proper documentation of procedures and validating them with the user community.
- Work with senior management across Finance and HR to understand business problems and map those to technical solutions.

Qualifications: Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities: - 3 – 5 years direct people management experience including but not limited to: recruiting/hiring, performance management, mentoring, etc.
- Project management methodology and planning skills to lead and direct a project team.
- 5 + years of experience in support of Oracle Financial and HRIS Applications.
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley impact and the identification of related Oracle 11i controls.
- Demonstrated experience performing business analysis for Oracle Applications 11i, including new implementation. Must have solid knowledge of flex fields, workflow, setup and profile options.
- Must have working knowledge of query tools (PL/SQL, Toad, SQL Plus).
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users, at all levels.
- Thorough understanding of multi-organization and multi-currency functionality and their application in complex business situations.
- Ability to analyze business processes and business needs, and to drive the requirements and solution design process.
- Has the ability to work with users of all levels to identify requirements and deliver timely results.
- Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills.
- Prepares time and cost estimates for completing projects.
- Must be able to travel globally (5-10%).
REQUIRED degree(s), license(s), and/or certification(s): Bachelors degree (preferably in MIS, Finance, Computer Science, or related area). PREFERRED degree(s), license(s), and/or certification(s): Advanced degree and/or PMP a plus
