An excellent opportunity exists for a Director to join Deloitte’s largest regional office and growing Advisory team. With a full service offering in Birmingham, and the Lead Advisory team being recognised as market leader, this is an exciting time to join a successful and developing area of the firm.
 
Lead Advisory gained its market position through origination focused work and utilising strong relationships established across the Birmingham office. As a Director, this role offers the opportunity for an experienced Corporate Financier to be involved in a broad range of transactions and have a real impact on the direction of the team.
  
Step up to the challenge
 
Lead Advisory is expanding its team and looking to take on a Director who is up to challenge. With increased headcount, comes the need to win more business and reinforce Deloitte’s place in the Lead Advisory market in Birmingham. Working closely with Partners, you will have the opportunity to play a critical part in business development, pitching for new deals and analysis of market activity.
 
In this role you would: 
  • Have responsibility for day-to-day management control of transactions
  • Assist in business development by instigating and managing marketing activity
  • Develop, coach and motivate members of the team as required
  • Demonstrate an ability to undertake detailed financial/commercial analysis to identify key business issues
  • Be involved in developing innovative solutions where necessary
To qualify, you must possess: 
  • ACA or equivalent accounting qualification or experience
  • Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent
  • Deal management experience, ideally with a focus on private company transactions
  • Significant experience of presenting to clients and pitching for business
  • Strong relationships within the investment community
  • Strong desire to achieve both on an individual and team basis
