 A fabulous new opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Retail IP claims assessor/specialist to take their career to the next level and join a team of claims specialists. You will no longer be responsible for managing a portfolio, rather, you will work closely with an internal panel of experts and be responsible for assisting the claims department on more complex and difficult claims, implementing sustainable strategies for such claims and devising, as a team, the best way to deal with fraudulent and/or complex claims. Utilising your strong understanding of Risk Insurance and your lateral thinking skills you will focus on quality within the department, manage decision and process reports, initiate investigation, research and analysis where appropriate whilst archiving reduction in reserves. To be regarded for this wonderful opportunity it is expected you will possess: 

• A strong understanding of the IP claims management process
• Excellent understanding of medical terminology and conditions
• Exceptional financials experience
• Solid understanding of relevant Insurance legislation and codes of practice
• Ability to take a tough stance on claims denial
