Due to the continued year on year growth and development of the organization and some recent restructuring as a result of the change from this growth - there is a need for a unified global head for the network and communications department.

Your main objectives will be to lead the Network and Communications department by serving as global manager, this will involve the planning and also to drive and manage vendors, resources and users in the BAU global operations within this department.  You will also provide the process, strategy, and techniques to efficiently direct and manage the global operations of the department.

Qualifications & experience required;

• At least 10+ years working experience within Information Technology.
• 4 years+ experience of managing a global network operations and communications infrastructure ideally from a multinational telecommunications company, financial institution or system integrator.
• Certification achieved in recognized project management methodology (PMP/PMI/PRINCE2).
• Certification achieved in ITIL or similar IT management methodologies
• Experienced in managing large scale Lotus Notes to MS Exchange migration projects.
• Proven experience implementing Microsoft Active Directory on a regional scale. 
• Good understanding of networks, voice, IP, messaging and data products and capabilities.
• Very Strong focus on delivery and attention to detail.
• Experience in developing and delivering IT operations strategy.
• Proven success and experience selecting and managing vendors and SLA’s on a global scale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
