We are urgently seeking strong Algorithmic Trading Developers for positions with our sell-side (Investment Banking) and buy-side (Hedge Fund) clients.

Position Description
 
Responsibilities:

• Systems analysis, design, construction and validation of automated trading strategies.
• Work directly with the Equity Traders, and other business users to develop and enhance on the algorithmic trading system on the trading floor.
• Resolving operational issues and implementing preventative measures.
• Provide integrated testing, UAT  & level 3 support.

Requirements

Essential skills/Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of Java programming within a front office environment on the sell-side or buy-side
• Demonstrated experience of designing or implementing reliable, scalable real-time applications
• Excellent knowledge of object oriented design principles
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Familiar with Spring and JUnit
• Good command of spoken and written English
