The Asia MI organisation plays a very important role in supporting the delivery of regional GBM business goals through the provision of timely, transparent and insightful MI across the organisation. The team is responsible for providing financial management support to the regional heads of Credit Markets Origination (CMO) and Regional GBM Markets in delivering against agreed financial commitments for the region.
Key Responsibilities • Goal setting and GBM product performance evaluation • To engage and align regional product targets with global product heads and produce comprenhensive monthly MI reporting • To produce robust monthly rolling forecast, providing insight to GBM performance issues • Support and enhance regional GBM product performance • Provide objective commentary on GBM product performance • To lead forecasting process ensuring accurate consolidation across GBM product areas • To lead budgeting process ensuring accurate consolidation across GBM product areas • Manage a team of finance professionals
Requirements • Qualified Accountant with post 15 years experience • Experience working in MI Role within a bank, ideally in a regional capacity • Product Control knowledge from Investment Banking with extensive Product knowledge suite • Have experience with reporting P&L and understanding of chart of account lines and able to link information to all areas within MI • Strong lateral thinker with the ability to manage various stakeholders and good staff manager • Strong communicator particuarly in English to influence and liase with senior management and stakeholders.
