Function of Delivery Services The Algorithmics Global Services and Support (GSS) team is responsible for providing clients with the best possible quality post-sales service in terms of consultancy, project management, implementation work, and post-implementation support. During the sales process the GSS team provides direct support of the sales Sales team during the pre-sales effort. A very significant proportion of the Company’s global revenue is realised through the teamwork of this division. Key Responsibilities This role will involve the provision of both pre and post sales support to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice, guidance and quality of service. The consultants are also focal points of contact within the firm for their expertise. Duties and responsibilities • Assist in both executing and advising on the implementation of projects. Most of this consultancy work is carried out on-site for the duration of the project. • Conduct pre-sales presentations and workshops for clients. (To be convincing presenters, consultants must become highly familiar with Algo products, the business they support and the technology involved). • Advise clients on how the use of Algo products and technology in their environments can best meet their objectives. • Keep abreast with developments within Algo and in the market place, both in business and technological terms. • Make available expertise within the firm for training and advising others, and for helping with the further development of our products. Deliver both internal and external product training. • Support the Global Services management in the development of the business. • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure familiarity with prospects and their plans. Essential Expertise • Credit risk associated with retail, wholesale and treasury products • Working knowledge of the credit risk cycle and related business process workflows • Familiarity with Regulatory Capital requirements • Knowledge of credit and portfolio credit risk systems and the process of implementation • Expertise in business requirements gathering and documentation • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Knowledge of VAR and basic analytics is advantageous • Knowledge of Economic Capital methodologies is advantageous • Travel is essential to this role. Candidates should expect to spend upwards of 50% of their time traveling to client sites for project related work. Work Experience • Strong experience in a Financial Markets/Consultancy environment with expertise in regulatory & counterparty credit risk practice and methodology Education Degree or equivalent level in relevant subjects (Maths, Economics, Business, Computer Science, etc.) preferred but not essential Others • Good command of English and Mandarin, both verbal and written • Willingness to work on client sites as well as to work in small teams or alone • Good client facing and communication skills • Keen enthusiasm to solve technical problems of any kind • Self reliant, self starter, self motivated, requiring minimum supervision • Willingness to travel regularly • Willingness to maximise available opportunities for development by attending relevant training courses; and self study to keep abreast of developments relevant to the business • Good sense of humour and an ability to thrive in a growing and dynamic organisation Desirable Requirements: Algorithmics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
