Job Summary
RBC Dexia Investor Services is seeking an experienced Class Actions specialist to work within a busy corporate actions environment. This team player will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all class actions, as well as associated daily entries. Class actions knowledge and a demonstrated ability of working within processes - reconciliations, income and corporate actions and excellent attention to detail are all required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

Responsible for presenting all instructions for Class Actions (voluntary issues) to the Senior Administrator/Supervisor for checking within the recognised timeframes
Ensure that all client and or agent inbound communications are processed accurately and timely
Update Stock/Cash positions on the book of record
Completion and resolution of reconciliation issues and client queries in a timely manner
Submit completed claim form to Claims Administrators globally
Follow up with Claims Administrators to ensure that the correct documentation is in place and the claim is being actioned

The Individual
You will have experience in a Global custody or related financial institution. You will have good technical knowledge and experience of Class Actions and a demonstrated ability to work within processes and take a thorough and methodical approach to the accurate processing of all allocated Corporate Actions. You must possess the ability to adhere to procedures and risk management controls at all times, work with initiative and work under pressure, and possess good interpersonal skills and organisational skills.

Behavioural/Technical Competencies
You will be a systems literate with good technical knowledge of varying Corporate Actions within different markets, with a knowledge of Swift.
