Person Specification - An experienced sales/marketing person with proven experience gained in vendor relations, with a demonstrable record of achievement in this area.
- Would need to be able to deal with vendors on several levels, from contract negotiation to administration of content and royalties.

To develop new and maintain Fitch’s existing distributor relationships. In this role, the job holder will be required to maximise the opportunities for re-distributing Fitch’s proprietary content. The objective will be to generate new streams of revenue based on royalties, fixed fees and other agreed charging mechanisms. This role would primarily focus on opportunities in the EMEA region but would also require close cooperation with the global team. Potential partners would include data vendors, solution providers and technology companies. In addition close cooperation with the direct sales team to identify distribution opportunities in their client base is required. Close consultation with the product development and commercial management group is a key requirement. Primary Responsibilities: New Partners: - Research and identify potential partners that we wish to have relationship with.
- Seek to develop an appropriate relationship with each of these prospects subject to the corporate criteria
Existing Vendors - Manage a group of existing relationships with a view to maximizing existing revenue streams and developing new ones.
In general - responsible for: - All contractual issues
- Joint marketing initiatives
- Education of Fitch staff concerning the nature of these relationships
