Fund Accountant The Fund Accountant is responsible for the assembling and coordination of the reporting process and assists in the research, execution and implementation of accounting reporting related services. These focus on the increase of quality, efficiency, expansion of services and integration of services within Asset Servicing. Tasks:
- execute and monitor the Dutch DNB-DRA reporting (monthly) for selected clients - execute and monitor the Dutch DNB-FTK reporting (quarterly and annually) for selected clients - execute and monitor the annual reporting process for selected clients - provide support to additional accounting queries, reporting processes and bespoke reporting requests - set up and update standard procedures for (DNB) reporting processes - responsible for quality control of (regulatory) reporting. - support and maintenance of regulatory reporting (a.o. classification schemes) - creating and providing of supporting files for internal departments. - support and advise Supervisor Reporting Team of new services and efficiency & quality improvements - pro-actively assist Institutional Accounting Specialists and Supervisors with issues associated with accounting information and reporting (o.a. Workbench, FSM, QMF, DNB) - communicate on regular basis with the Senior Accounting Analyst, Accounting Specialists and Supervisors and all relevant departments of the company Profile:~
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following job specific competencies: - accounting skills - knowledge and experience in the Portfolio Accounting, strong bookkeeping background - analytical skills – read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations - accuracy skills – has great attention to detail - communication skills – has effective oral and written communication skills; e.g. is able to write reports, procedure manuals and correspondence in business English and Dutch - organizational skills – is extremely organized and is able to prioritize and meet stringent deadlines. Ability to stay focussed on the end-goal, report on mile-stones and is capable of working under a certain amount of (time-) pressure - system skills – excellent skills in Excel
Your background: - HBO degree (University degree advantageous), business administration and/or management - knowledge of investment accounting and regulatory reporting with strong administrative and analytical skills - two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
