1. Job description As a member of the Loan & Deposit Desk, your main task is to handle withdrawals of advance payments (straight loans) and roll overs as well as to monitor term deposits for clients of Domestic Wholesale Belgium (Midcorp and Non-Profit) and corporate clients. You will maintain primarily telephone contact with your clients for these products. Goals are to maintain and increase volumes (use of credit lines, term deposit amounts), to maximise margins on these products, but also to monitor customer satisfaction. 2. Responsibilities 1. Existing relationships Monitoring of renewal dates of advance payment/rollover withdrawals and term deposits and contacting clients and offices to process new instructions. Encourage clients to use alternative channels and deposit products. Constant monitoring of the accuracy of client data/instructions and, if necessary, contact the authorised bodies (Business Center, file administrator etc.) to amend this information or have it amended. 2. Risks The employee should ensure at all times that: - advance payment/rollover withdrawals remain within the credit lines allocated to the client and, if exceeded, call on the necessary advice from the authorised bodies - the creation of term deposits does not lead to an irregular debtor position. 3. New relationships In conjunction with the Customer Relationship Adviser and the Credit Secretariat (for advance payments/rollovers), you will compile all the information on commercial margins, currencies, terms, contact in order to serve the new client correctly. 4. Internal communication/commercial activities To maintain good communication with the Customer Relationship Advisers on the use of advance payments and rollover lines as well as the amounts of the term deposits. You will give regular feedback on client contacts and pricing. Forwarding of sales leads to colleagues in PCM (Asset & Liquidity Adviser, Payments & Cash Management Adviser etc.) and Financial Markets. Active participation in commercial activities initiated by Domestic Wholesale Products (PCM, Lending etc.) and Financial Markets. 5. Professional ethics Strict compliance with the bank's regulations as set out in the relevant guidelines. 3. Organisational context The Loan & Deposit Desk is the responsibility of Domestic Wholesale SWE, Products and Services, Payments & Cash Management, Belgium. 4. Skills and experience You will have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). You have a very good command of Dutch and French and a knowledge of English. Basic knowledge of term deposits and advance payments (rollover) is a bonus. You have good knowledge of MS Office. 5. Personal profile You are/have: - good communication skills (especially verbal) - customer oriented - accurate in administrative matters (with an eye for detail) - a team player with good relational skills
