Responsibilities
The Equity Research Group is looking for a dedicated Associate who will be responsible for understanding research needs of our equity customers and meeting those needs through a variety of research and customer service activities. The Associate will work closely with customers and Account Managers to deliver a world class equity research product.
Key activities include: -Reviewing and filtering Moody's credit research and forwarding appropriate content to targeted customers
-Writing interpretive commentary to assist equity investors understanding of Moody's credit conclusions; and responding to a broad array of ad-hoc customer inquiries.
The position requires an individual who can deliver a customer experience that builds confidence in our capabilities and value. Successful candidates will become a leading communicator of Moody's unique vision and value proposition to our customers
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with an interest in equity research and business development
-Individual must be organized, detail-oriented, a good communicator (both written and verbal), be team-oriented and able to work independently
-Organized work habits, computer productivity skills, strong interpersonal skills will be critical to success
-The ideal candidate will have an ability and willingness to reach out to both users and non users and request meetings, propose options and present our vision, value proposition and handle objections and difficult situations involving customer and prospect interactions.
